Re: Skype Game 2: WOTRs Yorkist v Tudor
A very dynamic game. The Skype thing really adds a new dimension to gaming.

ACW - boardgame conversion to tabletop
The blog says it all, but this is the first of three figures games falling out of a situation created in a boardgame. Kallistra 12mm ACW figures in use.

1066 - Not Hastings!
a mix of tongue-in-cheek narrative and AAR from the 1066 period, that looks a bit cheekily like Hastings, with 12mm Kallistra figures, played out on a large pinboard. The game was mostly run using my Invasion 1066 rules, with tweaks to make it work with just a few units. Link http://battlefieldswarr...

Re: hexon swamps and lakes
Very nice, I have just bought some Woodland Scenics 'water' effect, so will try that. The escarpment looks superb and I am guessing that the cork still keeps the hill light.

12mm Black Powder Salem Church
I took a slice of action from the boardgame Salem Church by Decision Games and played it out as a Black Powder game on just a 3' x 3' space. There is a full article over on my blog. All-in-all, it gave a very enjoyable and quite tight game. LINK http://battlefieldswarriors.blogspot.com/2019/09/12mm-...
