Hi Norm,
Just had a look at your blog - the construction seems so simple and straight forward and yet the final result is really effective - great job!

Re: Samurai v Teutonic Order (300 points each side) games
Hi Dane,
I can honestly and sincerely report that following that fateful encounter my die rolling has certainly reverted back to normal as everyone who witnessed my abysmal performance at the club on Tuesday evening will surely testify!

Re: WW1 - Raging Empires - Battalion Sizes?
Hi, The number of stands allocated to infantry battalions of the various nations was was decided using the standard army corp strengths of 1914 based on the information contained in 'The 1914 Campaign' publication by Daniel David 1987. The information contained therein gives a full 'on paper strengt...

Re: Barbarians
Which flock colour to use for basing is quite a common topic for discussion at our club. I have used the same flock on all my minis for well over a decade - Noch 50210 Spring Meadow. I have supplied a number of my local club members with this flock and is the base colour for all the Hexon terrain sy...

Re: question about units fleeing from aerial attacks
Hi Gabz, Good question! The first hex of the flee move can be in any direction away from the enemy unit(s). Then subsequent hexes of the flee move should be parallel to or towards its own sides table edge. This often involves passing through and causing disruption to other friendly units or displaci...

Re: Raging Empires different scale
Hi Fenton, I can see no reason why the Raging Empires system cannot be scaled up or down according to the size of battle being fought or availability of miniatures. One stand of infantry could be made to represent a company and one artillery stand a battery of 6 or 4 guns. At our club a group have w...

Re: questions about Generals
Hi Gabz,
There is no limit to the number of Generals and/or magicians that can be in the same hex.
Two or more generals/magicians in the same hex with or without a friendly unit in attendance still only use 2xD6 in combat.

Re: WW1 hand to hand question
Sorry for the delayed reply – I’ve been away for a few days! The close assault or ‘hand-to-hand’ combat move must start from an adjacent hex to the one that is being assaulted. This constitutes the entire move for those stands involved in the close assault move despite the fact that they have only m...

Re: Oil / gas storage towers
Looks really good! Have you used textured paint on the base or some kind of decorators filler?
