Why We Don't use Kallistra but Should..

Post by companycmd » Mon Dec 23, 2013 6:13 pm

First, we don't because we can't afford the product.
Second, we should because from what we can see the product has a great deal of potential.
Third, the height of the pieces and the slopes being used does not seem to be compatible with both 1/72 WW2 and 28mm ACW, but that is just a guess as we can't find anyone in the U.S. that has this product for us to know for sure.
Fourth, the issue of roads and rivers.

For this to be discussed further, please volunteer to be interviewed online and become an episode in the War Games with Historic Miniatures Channel on the Roku video streaming device.

Or, take part in our online live video broadcasts from Chicago using IP cameras and web cameras to discuss gaming, technology, terrain and tactics with miniature war games.

I think if you put the underlay on the bases and used the sloping terrain you might be ok using hexon with the bigger scales. it depends what your preferences for using the terrain might be.
